You don’t necessary need to be in the tourism business to appreciate the advantages of knowing Italian.
Whatever is your area (marketing, sales, IT or other), speaking Italian can surely help you as the Italian market is very vivid.
Many international companies operate in Italy or wish to bring their products and services in there. Not to forget Italian companies that have contacts abroad to export their products. After all, the made in Italy has still its appeal!
