Reason number one is definitely travelling. Italy is one of most popular tourist attractions in the world. This is thanks to its well known ancient history and its beautiful architecture. Not to mention its delicious food and unique landscapes!

If you are passionate about art, you can choose one of the many Italian cities as your next holiday destination.

And if you prefer some piece and quiet, you can find restful time on a mountain village or in the countryside. You’ll be able to spend quality time and enjoy the wonderful landscapes that Italy offers. You won’t regret it!

Wherever you go, you can add incredible value to your trip if you speak Italian. Communicate in the local language will surely make your experience memorable!

2. Opportunities to Practice (without travelling to Italy!)

If you speak Italian, you’ll have many chances to practice and make new friends, in person or virtually.

Italians are generally quite friendly and love interacting with people. Many could also be interested in improving their English and be open to a language exchange!

Also, during the past few years, Italians have often left “il Bel Paese” in search of better opportunities so they are now literally everywhere. In big international cities, it’s pretty frequent to hear people speaking in Italian.

You don’t necessary need to be in the tourism business to appreciate the advantages of knowing Italian.

Many international companies operate in Italy or wish to bring their products and services in there. Not to forget Italian companies that have contacts abroad to export their products. After all, the made in Italy has still its appeal!
